In the order the games finished. Tim was fortunate to win early after his opponent blundered a knight & resigned immediately. Bruce had chances in an uneven ending, something like R, N & B + 3 pawns against R,N & 6 pawns. Peter suffered against Zheming, and lost a close ending. David said he played a good game, and then threw it away. Andy lost after a time scramble, having refused Chris’s draw offers. Chris had 18 secs left at the end, Andy a little more. So plenty to scope for more points, but congratulations to Jesmond.
